"I have to say yoga is becoming an intrinsic part of my life. I was going through a lot of emotional difficulties in life, and I have been looking ways to detox my emotional life and find peace. I have tried to practice yoga on my own, but it never produced any effect. When I saw a notice on Mr. Harding's door. I know I just had to try it.
The first week was painful but it did not stop me. I felt I was getting toned, but most importantly I felt an inner change. My whole internal being was getting softer and I felt I was becoming more vulnerable and in tune with my emotions. My life as a teacher is very stressful, and I know yoga is a path to a more balanced inner life without which I cannot function well in my professional and personal life.
My first experience in a mediation class was interesting. Time seems to have slowed down and there are changes to my perception of reality. I was especially impressed by the guided part of meditation when we are asked to breathe out the negative emotions of our life and breathing in wholeness. It is incredible.
I am looking forward to learning more about yoga and center my life around the search for inner peace. In some sense, if one can balance the internal life, the whole world is fixed because the whole world is a subjective reality." ~Jane Chen, San Ramon. |

I love Umang\'s classes even more because she has a wonderful way of totally relaxing you, something very needed for me after spending the day with 31 active children. "Over the last year I have lost significant amount of weight with diet and the introduction of kickboxing. In July, I decided to add yoga with Umang to the mix. I have always been interested in yoga but never practiced it with much consistency. I struggled with a lot of restriction in my hips while kickboxing. Since I have been practicing yoga, my hips have opened significantly and I have seen a change my body. I am just stronger now but not bulky. I highly recommend the combination. Bonus: Umang is an absolute delight and inspiration."

"I have tried many kinds of exercise, fitness routines and gyms, but nothing has ever struck the right chord with me until I tried Umang's yoga classes. In just a few short weeks, I can already feel the difference that yoga can make in one's life. It is truly a body-mind-spirit workout. Physically, I feel both stronger and more flexible. Mentally, I am more focused and less stressed. Spiritually, I feel calmer in the knowledge that life is to be lived and appreciated in the present moment.
