►"I have to say yoga is becoming an intrinsic part of my life. I was going through a lot of emotional difficulties in life, and I have been looking ways to detox my emotional life and find peace. I have tried to practice yoga on my own, but it never produced any effect. When I saw a notice on Mr. Harding's door. I know I just had to try it.
The first week was painful but it did not stop me. I felt I was getting toned, but most importantly I felt an inner change. My whole internal being was getting softer and I felt I was becoming more vulnerable and in tune with my emotions. My life as a teacher is very stressful, and I know yoga is a path to a more balanced inner life without which I cannot function well in my professional and personal life.
My first experience in a mediation class was interesting. Time seems to have slowed down and there are changes to my perception of reality. ►"Over the last year I have lost significant amount of weight with diet and the introduction of kickboxing. In July, I decided to add yoga with Umang to the mix. I have always been interested in yoga but never practiced it with much consistency. I struggled with a lot of restriction in my hips while kickboxing. Since I have been practicing yoga, my hips have opened significantly and I have seen a change my body. I am just stronger now but not bulky. I highly recommend the combination. "I am very blessed to have opportunities to take Umang's Yoga Classes in the
Cafeteria. Umang has been very generous and supportive of our APCA Japan
Relief Campaign by donating a lot of Yoga classes for our fundraising and
auction for Japan Relief. With these Yoga Class Certificates for Japan Relief,
I have just started my Yoga journey with Umang since last Friday. I have taken
the Fri class for all levels, Mon Restorative class and Wed Advanced class.
These classes are very restorative and relaxing, but yet pushing us to our own

"I work in a fairly demanding job where I spend hours on the phone, often without a
break between meetings. Because I work with people on both coasts, my days tend to
be long as well. Being able to take a break in the middle of the day and do yoga on
site has really helped me to be more successful in my job. While the temptation is
always there to skip class and vegetate at my desk, I find when I go to yoga, I come
back energized and looking forward to my next meeting. The class counteracts the
negative effects of hanging over a computer all day, and alleviates the stress of the
constant deadlines. The fact that the class is here in the same building means that
there is no travel time which is really incredible. I can take a one hour break and come
back relaxed, invigorated, and loving my job. I find when I am walking back through
the hallway after class, the ideas start to flow and I'm immediately more productive.
The increased strength and flexibility from yoga I am sure is also adding to my overall
health. Having Umang here in the building teaching yoga is just an incredible

Thank you so much for teaching us in a yoga class. You've taught multiple poses that I couldn't even be doing at the beginning of the class. You're a great, fun teacher who has a great sense of humor.
One of my favorite poses is the firefly pose. I like this pose because it taught me how to put my entire body on my arms and then hold it up. It also taught me to keep trying and not to back down when things are hard. I worked on this pose for 3 weeks and now I can hold it for a long time.
One of the things I also like is the Om. I love how you can literally feel your voice in all parts of your body.
People often think of yoga class as a bore with nothing to do. Well, it is if you are not with Umang Auntie. You have taught me so many things and I know you will do great in your yoga studio. Hope you have fun. Your yoga student, Anya."
