Going on a retreat simply means taking time away from your daily hectic life and activities, away from the daily responsibilities of your family, away from your job, away from situations you are unable to get away from and away from the stresses of daily life into peace and calm, and tranquility for a day or two or more. It is a time for reflection, an opportunity to examine the quality of your spiritual life, a time for purification and a time for inner growth, a time to enable awakening. This is a time to start what may not have been possible otherwise! 

At the retreat, the emphasis is on a healthy lifestyle in regard to exercise, meditation, breathing, food, relaxation and good company (Satsang) and learning new life meanings. It provides an opportunity to explore the dimensions of the Self that remains hidden. It provides nourishment to the Soul that everyone needs in the absence of everyday concerns.

Wellness Haven hosts Retreats as follows:
1. Mini 12 hour Yoga Retreats (10 am – 10 pm) – Yoga, Breathing, Meditation, Movie, Chai! ($100 + Potluck Food to be brought by each participant)
2. Quarterly Local Yoga Retreats (2 days 1 night or 2 1/2 days and 2 nights) ($650 with early bird discount of $550)
3. International Yoga Retreats

The theme for each of Wellness Haven Retreats is:

The tools we use are:

c. Vision Board (12″x18″ as well as other sizes) through a mixture of the 2 above.

e. Molding through clay/ playdoh

Format of our Retreats (Healing/Relaxation/Rejuvenation):

  • 2 hours of Yoga per day
  • 2 hours of Breathing and Meditation per day
  • Approximately 2 hours of Self Time spread throughout each day
  • Sharing at Meals
  • Walking after meals
  • Manifestation workshop (Preparation the first day through every activity – yoga, meditation, walking, communicating) and 3-4 hours in silence for the most part as we work in a group the 2nd day
  • Sharing/Singing/Free-flowing Dancing towards the end of the day
  • Self Care/Self massage as we gather in a circle 
  • Sleep in private rooms to maximize self-reflection
